- Ten'ou vs. Tenoh/Kaiou vs. Kaioh/Meiou vs Meioh. So what is the proper spelling of the last names of Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna? It depends on the situation. Some people put the second spelling for phonetic reason. The 1st spelling is for how to write it. The second spelling is how to say it. That way, you wouldn't say Tenou with an "oo" like in the word "blue."
